The Mechanical HVAC Engineer will focus on delivering innovative HVAC design solutions for Data Center clients within Jacobs' Advanced Manufacturing Group. This role involves working with a multi-discipline team to develop optimized processes and create detailed design documents. The engineer will be responsible for field investigations, client interactions, and ensuring technical quality in engineering tasks. • Three or more years of experience in the design of HVAC systems.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC design.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to lead a building mechanical team and collaborate with other disciplines.

• Layout and design HVAC systems for various clients including data centers and heavy industrial facilities.
• Develop design criteria for HVAC systems, including temperature and humidity control.
• Create conceptual and preliminary design documents, including calculations and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure project success.
