Job description

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of professional software engineering experience building, shipping, and maintaining production-grade software systems.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with C++, C#, .NET, and Windows development frameworks such as Win32 API, WinUI3 and/or UWP.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, architecture, and development of key components of the Windows Ads SDK.
  • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines, test infrastructure, and automation for reliable releases.
  • Design and implement features that improve the ad delivery experience on Windows platforms.
  • Collaborate with architects and cross-functional engineering teams to evaluate design options.
  • Drive data-informed feature rollouts, leveraging telemetry and experimentation.
  • Participate in and influence design and code reviews, applying secure design principles.
  • Work closely with partner teams to ensure end-to-end readiness prior to production releases.
