The Water Resource Recovery (Wastewater) Process Engineer role at Jacobs focuses on supporting regional teams in Southern California. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering or a related engineering field
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the evaluation, design, and optimization of water resource recovery facilities and related construction activities
- Ideally, a Master’s degree or PhD in Environmental or Chemical Engineering or another related engineering discipline
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in California is preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop a working understanding of conventional and advanced processes within the water resource recovery market
- Lead and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams to deliver world-class projects including preliminary engineering studies, detailed design, and process optimization
- Work directly with clients on projects and tasks, developing long-term client relationships
- Support the global water resource recovery team on research, optimization, and design projects
