Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) License
- United States Citizenship
- At least 10 years of experience working in a corporate engineering environment
- Strong mentorship focus to develop future engineers
- Strong technical focus in the Architectural Engineering space
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and design lighting systems and associated controls.
- Prepare load analysis for different stages of design and oversee the preparation of drawings detailing system design.
- Prepare basis of design reports and document energy compliance calculations and forms.
- Design grounding and lightning protection, as well as redundant electrical systems.
- Mitigate hazardous area concerns and select equipment and fixtures for use in the building.
- Coordinate design with engineers and architects of other disciplines and facilitate construction administration.
