Job description

The Geologist/Environmental Scientist role at Jacobs involves working with a multi-disciplinary team to support environmental projects. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in geology or environmental sciences
  • Minimum 4 years of experience within environmental consulting or a comparable field
  • Dedication to a robust health and safety culture
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Conduct fieldwork including sampling of soil, groundwater, air, and other mediums.
  • Participate in daily tailgate meetings and project-specific calls.
  • Review and evaluate data, and prepare reports.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal staff and clients.
  • Coordinate and plan environmental and geotechnical drilling activities.
