Job description
The Senior Resident Engineer (MEP) role at Jacobs involves managing large-scale complex construction contracts in Atlanta, Georgia. Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the administration of construction contracts and inspection of construction work in the field.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical or electrical.
- Demonstrated knowledge of multiple project delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build.
- Experience in reviewing and overseeing a Document Control Plan and development of a Project Procedures Manual.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate efforts of contractors during construction, closeout, and occupancy.
- Evaluate the progress and quality of construction activities in conformance with approved schedules and budgets.
- Review and approve progress payments and monitor field coordination and inspection.
- Prepare Resident Engineer’s Weekly Report and oversee the Quality Assurance Program for each assigned contract.
