Job description

The Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) for Apple Wallet will lead the strategy and execution of the analytics platform, focusing on building a privacy-centric data foundation. This role requires a high degree of autonomy and influence, connecting engineering teams, data scientists, product managers, and executive leadership. The TPM will ensure that initiatives are based on secure and reliable data while upholding Apple's commitment to user privacy. Candidates should have a passion for developing robust data systems at scale and improving services for millions of customers worldwide.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Technical Program Management
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Data Engineering/Science
  • Deep understanding of data engineering and analytics lifecycles
  • Hands-on experience with GenAI and leveraging LLMs for automation
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Splunk, Spark, and Kafka
  • History of shipping complex and reliable data platforms
  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills
  • Mastery in navigating ambiguity and translating business goals into execution plans
  • Highly effective communication and presentation skills
  • Understanding of data privacy principles
  • PMP, ACP, CSM, SAFe, PgMP, PfMP or equivalent certifications
  • Experience in the payments industry or large-scale e-commerce platforms
  • MS degree in Business Management, Data Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the roadmap for Wallet Services analytics
  • Ensure initiatives are built on a foundation of secure and reliable data
  • Act as a critical link between engineering teams, data scientists, and product managers
  • Support key PPM areas including stakeholder management and risk management
  • Influence and align teams from various departments without direct authority
  • Translate high-level business goals into concrete execution plans
  • Manage and understand data privacy principles
