Job description
The Senior Principal Architect for National Security at Google will play a crucial role in helping customers transform their businesses using Google Cloud technology. This position involves leading cross-functional teams to design, plan, implement, and govern enterprise cloud strategies, particularly in the Federal public sector. The architect will engage with technical sales teams and customers to develop innovative cloud solutions and address technical challenges. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing and the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience as an enterprise architect or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role.
- Experience in cloud market insights and cloud computing across applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, or data.
- Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with current polygraph.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify business opportunities and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers.
- Share enterprise infrastructure modernization expertise to support technical relationships with customers.
- Partner with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption of Google Cloud.
- Demonstrate and prototype integrations of Google Cloud products in customer and partner environments.
- Guide customers through assessments of existing legacy application environments and provide modernization recommendations.
