The SoC Debug Engineer position at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is part of the Silicon Validation team, which ensures the quality of SoC silicon. The role involves close collaboration with architects, designers, verification engineers, and software engineers. The primary focus is on debugging and analyzing failures at the embedded platform level during both pre-Si and post-Si phases. The engineer will also work on developing solutions for faster debugging and creating strategies for isolating specific components.

• 5 to 8 years of experience with pre-silicon and post-silicon enabling.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Gen AI knowledge and experience for automating the Debug flow.
• Experience debugging low-level software and hardware issues.
• Familiarity with debug tools including JTAG and lab equipment such as Logic Analyzers and Oscilloscopes.

• Bring up, debug, and analyze failures at the embedded platform level.
• Support, develop, and implement solutions for faster debugging at the platform level.
• Create debug strategies and plans for partners to rapidly triage failures.
• Isolate specific components including PVT and marginality issues.
• Enable Gen AI automation for automating the Debug flow.
