Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join the Modem Power Software team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing advanced power management software for next-generation mobile platforms, including 6th Generation (6G) modem technologies. The ideal candidate will be passionate about low-power design and the evolution of wireless technologies. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering, Embedded Software, or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering, Embedded Software, or related work experience.
• PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience in Embedded C/C++ and solid understanding of real-time operating systems.
• Familiarity with using AI-assisted tools to improve development efficiency.
• Experience with low-level debugging, system analysis, and power/performance optimization.
• Exposure to or understanding of radio frequency (RF) systems, wireless communication fundamentals, or modem-RF interactions.

• Design and enhance embedded software components that manage power and performance in cellular modem systems.
• Improve system efficiency through innovative power optimization techniques and algorithms.
• Analyze and resolve complex system issues using logs, traces, and debugging tools.
• Collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, and system teams to deliver optimized end-to-end solutions.
