Qualcomm is seeking talented Product Security Engineers at various levels to join the AISW organization, which focuses on AI software engineering. The role involves evaluating system architectures for security gaps and partnering with development teams throughout the software lifecycle. Candidates will be responsible for building automated security assessments and contributing to the development of threat detection systems. The position emphasizes proactive threat discovery and ensuring the security of AI software across multiple platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD in a related field.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in offensive or product security roles, including software development experience.
- Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++ with experience in scripting for security automation.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AISW Team’s products for security gaps early in the development lifecycle.
- Conduct security design reviews, threat modeling sessions, and architecture assessments.
- Monitor the threat landscape to identify newly disclosed vulnerabilities and emerging attack patterns.
- Develop and maintain automated solutions for threat emulation to improve detection validation.
- Manage the full vulnerability lifecycle from initial report through rescan validation.
