Job description

The role is for an Engineer in Qualcomm's Graphics team, focusing on the implementation and methodology of Adreno Graphics cores. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams to integrate, implement, and develop advanced GPU cores. Responsibilities will span from RTL integration to physical design, requiring a solid understanding of ASIC design flow. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to state-of-the-art technology in a leading semiconductor company.

Requirements

  • 0-5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Basic understanding of RTL design and ASIC design flow from RTL to GDS2
  • Knowledge of Verilog and System-Verilog languages
  • Exposure to Synopsys Design Compiler tools, Conformal LEC, Synopsys Formality and Synopsys PrimeTime

Responsibilities

  • Work on RTL integration through to physical design for Adreno GPU cores
  • Ensure implementation readiness with RTL lint, custom checks, and unit level synthesis
  • Collaborate effectively with Architecture, Design, DV, SOC, DFT, and IMPL teams
  • Develop innovative methods to improve front-end design integration process
  • Manage design goals in power, performance, and area
