The Quality Engineer at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards across design, development, and manufacturing processes. This senior role requires collaboration with engineering, program management, and operations teams to integrate quality into the product lifecycle. The position focuses on leading internal assessments, managing external audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Engineer will also mentor team members and influence cross-functional teams to uphold quality objectives.

• Bachelor's degree in Applied Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years, or a PhD with 4+ years.
• Hands-on knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standard and Lead Auditor Certification.
• 10+ years of experience in quality systems, product engineering, manufacturing, or reliability roles supporting complex electronic products.
• Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, validation, and release processes.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

• Lead the planning and execution of internal assessments to evaluate compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Independently conduct internal assessments and provide actionable feedback to hardware, system, and program teams.
• Serve as the primary Quality Systems lead for engagement with external ISO registrars and certification bodies.
• Analyze quality data and customer signals to identify enterprise-level risks and trends.
• Develop and oversee quality training, process documentation, and templates to support internal QMS effectiveness.
