Job description
As a Qualcomm Systems Engineer, you will be at the forefront of researching, designing, developing, and validating systems-level software and hardware. This role involves collaboration across various functional teams to ensure that system-level requirements are met and exceeded. You will leverage your expertise to implement solutions that drive digital transformation and create next-generation experiences. The position requires strong leadership and decision-making skills to influence key organizational outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 10+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience, or a Master's degree with 9+ years, or a PhD with 8+ years.
- 15+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
- 15+ years of experience with 4G/5G/6G systems and associated cellular standards.
- 4+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
- 4+ years of supervisory experience.
- 3+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with executive leadership.
- 2+ years of experience working with operating budgets and/or project financials.
Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee the research, design, development, simulation, and validation of systems-level software and hardware.
- Oversee the functional analysis that drives requirements and specifications.
- Lead multiple teams in the analysis and development of system-level design.
- Collaborate with high-level representatives from other functions to develop and execute system design.
- Create overarching system strategy to direct work for multiple project teams.
- Develop and implement standards for the triage of problems at the system level.
