This role is a senior Quality Systems leader at Qualcomm, focusing on the adaptation and maturation of the Quality Management System as the Data Center business pursues ISO 9001 certification. The position involves close collaboration with engineering, program management, operations, and executive leadership to embed quality into the product lifecycle. The role requires strong manufacturing electronics fundamentals and broad quality systems expertise to support complex electronic products. The successful candidate will drive alignment on quality objectives and continuous improvement priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field with an electronics background.
- Demonstrated experience planning and executing ISO 9001-based internal and external audits.
- Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 for electronic hardware acceptability standards.
- Experience supporting product traceability programs in complex hardware supply chains.
- Five plus years of experience in quality systems supporting complex electronic products.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of a Quality Management System for data center hardware systems.
- Translate contractual obligations and quality specifications into internal quality flow-downs.
- Lead engineering audits and assessments across data center products.
- Analyze quality data and customer signals to identify enterprise-level risks and trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with engineering and business teams to drive alignment on quality objectives.
