As a DTCO and Timing Engineer at Qualcomm, you will be integral to DTCO analysis for various markets including Mobile, Compute, Automotive, and IOT. You will utilize advanced methodologies and tools to evaluate process technology entitlement for SOC products. The role involves conducting Spice simulations for power and performance validation, as well as block level PPA analysis and implementation. Strong programming skills and collaboration with multiple teams are essential for optimizing design processes and supporting new advanced process technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years, or a PhD with 2+ years.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Perl, TCL, Unix shell, and C/C++.
- Experience with Spice simulations and STA sign off.
Responsibilities
- Conduct DTCO analysis targeting various markets including Mobile, Compute, Automotive, and IOT.
- Perform Spice simulations for power and performance validation.
- Execute block level PPA analysis and implementation for hard macros.
- Collaborate with foundry DTCO teams, EDA companies, and CAD teams to drive Fmax optimization.
- Support new advanced process technologies from PDK to VLSI design.
