Job description

Qualcomm is seeking hardware micro-architects and RTL designers to develop SOC Interconnects, Cache, and Memory Controllers for Snapdragon platforms. The team aims to deliver the best System-On-A-Chip products, enhancing performance across smartphones, PCs, virtual reality devices, and automotive solutions. Candidates will engage in micro-architecture, design, and validation of RTL for various components. The role emphasizes innovation and optimization in hardware design to improve performance and cost efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in ASIC design, verification, validation, or integration.
  • Experience or coursework in Verilog/SystemVerilog design and low power design.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with a GPA > 3.5, or a Master's degree or PhD in a related field.
  • Good communication skills and a desire to work as a team player.

Responsibilities

  • Micro-architect, design, and validate RTL for SOC Interconnects and memory subsystems.
  • Identify advanced ways to optimize hardware design for better performance, power, and cost.
  • Evaluate the hardware feasibilities of complex algorithms and requirements.
  • Develop micro architecture and specifications for new generation designs.
  • Provide essential verification and debugging activities throughout the project cycles.
  • Troubleshoot silicon issues related to the corresponding design.
