As a Qualcomm GPU Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, implementing, verifying, and optimizing the performance and power of GPU cores. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and drive digital transformation. This role requires a strong background in software and hardware engineering, as well as experience in GPU technologies. You will also guide your team in conducting complex graphics tests and developing critical driver and compiler software.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 7+ years, or a PhD with 6+ years.
- Master's degree or PhD in a related field is preferred.
- 4+ years in a technical leadership role with direct reports is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience interacting with senior leadership is preferred.
- 2+ years of relevant GPU experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Leverage expert GPU knowledge to architect, design, implement, verify, and optimize GPU cores.
- Build functional model simulations and develop software to verify correctness and performance.
- Guide the team in designing and running complex graphics tests to verify functionality and identify areas for improvement.
- Facilitate collaboration with third-party vendors and high-level representatives to drive implementation.
- Develop critical driver and compiler software to support GPU products.
- Write detailed technical documentation for complex GPU projects.
