This position is for the Post Silicon Engineering group at Qualcomm, focusing on developing test solutions for highly integrated System on Chips (SOCs). The engineer will work on defining and executing test methodologies for High Speed SERDES Interfaces and will be involved in characterizing these interfaces to optimize design parameters. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for chip and circuit bring up and debugging. • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in High Speed Silicon Validation
• Good understanding of VLSI technologies and semiconductor physics
• Knowledge of High Speed test and characterization techniques
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes and TDRs

• Define and execute development of test methodologies for High Speed SERDES Interfaces
• Develop and execute characterization plans for High Speed Interfaces
• Drive first silicon bring up and debug to qualify designs fabricated at external foundries
• Perform technical data analysis of parametric performance over various operating conditions
• Assist in hardware design and debug power integrity and signal integrity issues
