Job description

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a DSP applications software engineer to join their team focused on developing Qualcomm AI solutions. The role involves collaborating with the architecture team to define the next generation NSP and enabling advanced network models and AI software features. Candidates will evaluate and optimize neural networks for performance and accuracy while developing the AI software stack on Qualcomm NSP. This position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of relevant work experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD in a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience with high-performance microprocessor design.
  • Experience in embedded systems development.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as Pytorch, TensorFlow, and ONNX is a plus.
  • Background in mathematical algorithms using fast math libraries and vector instruction sets is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the architecture team to define the next generation NSP.
  • Enable state-of-the-art network models and new AI software features to meet customer use cases.
  • Evaluate and optimize neural networks for runtime performance and accuracy.
  • Develop the AI software stack on Qualcomm NSP.
