Job description
The role involves overseeing innovative CPU design efforts that significantly impact various industries. The individual will collaborate with multiple disciplines to design, verify, and implement multi-core CPU operations for Qualcomm. This position requires a deep understanding of microprocessor architecture and the ability to solve complex problems to ensure design completeness and performance. The candidate will also participate in all phases from design concept to productization, contributing to architecture definition and validation.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and three years of experience in a related occupation.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and seven years of progressive experience in a related occupation.
- Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience will also be accepted.
Responsibilities
- Oversee innovative CPU design efforts and ensure they meet customer and industry standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to collect feedback during design and verification reviews.
- Write clear and detailed technical documentation for complex designs.
- Participate in all phases from design concept to productization, including architecture definition and validation.
- Drive continuous self-improvement and share knowledge with team members.
