Job description

The role at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. focuses on developing advanced algorithms for sensor fusion using DSP and ML/AI techniques. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
  • PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience with digital signal processing, linear algebra, probability and statistics, and machine learning concepts.
  • Knowledge of inertial sensors and algorithm designs using IMUs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop state-of-the-art algorithms for single and multi-sensor fusion using DSP and ML/AI techniques.
  • Balance performance, power consumption, and computational complexity in algorithm development.
  • Create reports on algorithm evaluation, validation, and benchmarking.
  • Deliver complete design and user documentation.
  • Implement software in C/C++ on Qualcomm platforms.
