The test engineer at Qualcomm Atheros, Inc. is responsible for developing automated production test solutions for RF transceivers and mixed signal devices. This role involves supporting the launch of new products into high volume production and enhancing existing solutions. The engineer will collaborate with design and qualification teams to ensure alignment on test objectives and perform validation and characterization on ATE. The position requires a self-driven individual who can quickly adapt to various aspects of test development.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field is required.
• MSEE is preferred.
• Candidates with knowledge of analog circuits and RF are preferred.
• Experience with ATE systems such as Teradyne or 93K is a plus.

• Develop ATE test programs and integrate various test functions to support silicon bring up in the NPI phase.
• Define RF test strategies, test plans, and test procedures based on product specifications.
• Collaborate with design and qualification teams to align test objectives.
• Perform design characterization and validation on ATE across PVT and communicate results to cross-functional teams.
• Utilize ATE test tools and external instruments to debug any issues.
• Support continuous improvement activities during and post NPI phase, focusing on yield and quality.
