Job description

The Server Project Engineer role at Qualcomm involves leading the development of high-performance, energy-efficient server solutions for data center applications. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success from concept to commercialization. This role is critical for driving engineering resolutions and optimizing product performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 7+ years, or a PhD with 6+ years.
  • Extensive knowledge of semiconductor architecture, design, test, and commercialization of datacenter SoCs.
  • Over 10 years of experience in semiconductor product development.
  • 5+ years in a technical leadership role.
  • Experience with ARM architecture and related SoC development.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee chipset development and ensure KPIs are met by collaborating with various domain experts.
  • Drive resolution of all engineering issues on the chipset within and across various functional blocks.
  • Identify key risks to the project and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Identify gaps in existing processes and influence the development of new methodologies.
  • Communicate engineering status of the project clearly to stakeholders.
