The Quality Engineer role on the Platform Telemetry Quality Engineering team focuses on ensuring the accuracy and reliability of system telemetry data across all Apple devices. This position involves building and maintaining automated pipelines that validate data from various Apple products, including iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The engineer will work closely with development teams to establish quality expectations and provide real-time insights into system health. • Experience with Unix based systems
• Experience with SQL or other database structures
• Experience with Python or similar scripting languages
• 3+ years experience with test automation and frameworks including scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Bash
• Excellent ability to triage and debug problems
• QA experience or exposure to good testing methodologies preferred
• 3+ years of proven experience leading cross-functional, technical projects and initiatives
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience leveraging LLM-based tools for developing and testing code
