Job description

Join Intel's supply chain team as a Supply Chain Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing semiconductor manufacturing processes. This position focuses on driving quality improvements, optimizing supplier performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence. Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field and 4+ years of experience OR PhD in the same fields and 2+ years of experience.
  • Experience in semiconductor factory operations, supply chain engineering, or supplier management.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis and model-based problem solving (MBPS), KPI development, and performance tracking for supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and drive quality issues related to supplier safety, quality, and site MQI closure performance.
  • Drive continuous quality improvement with suppliers in partnership with FCS teams.
  • Liaise with the factory on supplier labor issues to improve manufacturing availability.
  • Conduct cost control, process optimization, and production yield studies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with supply chain leads to implement programs that elevate quality and streamline operations.
  • Establish control standards, define KPIs, monitor performance, and drive solutions for supply chain challenges.
  • Lead and mentor less experienced Supply Chain Engineers to drive improvements and standardization.
