Requirements
- Doctorate degree in a relevant field such as quantum computing, quantum algorithms, machine learning, computer science, statistics, or information theory.
- Experience in developing and analyzing quantum algorithms for simulation.
- Experience with quantum machine learning and hybrid quantum-classical learning workflows.
- Proficiency in implementing research code and using ML frameworks, particularly Qiskit.
- Familiarity with tensor-network methods for many-body systems and iterative ground-state solvers.
Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms that combine quantum and classical resources for simulating physical systems.
- Demonstrate quantum algorithms on real-world applications in physics, chemistry, and materials science.
- Improve and develop quantum machine learning methods for classical and quantum data.
- Create hybrid workflows that integrate measurement data from quantum experiments with classical machine learning.
- Expand the quantum ecosystem through collaborations with ML and quantum communities.
