The role involves building highly available, scalable, and distributed engineering systems for one of Amazon's largest data lakes. The Analytics & Data Management (ADM) team focuses on unifying petabytes of data to drive complex queries for analysis and reporting. The position offers the opportunity to innovate solutions using Java and AWS, as well as big data technologies like Spark and EMR. Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and operations
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Engage with key decision makers to understand customer requirements and brainstorm solutions.
- Design, code, and deploy components and micro-services for the core job management pipeline.
- Ensure testability, maintainability, and low operational footprint for your code.
- Participate in operational responsibilities with your team.
