Job description

The Vice President, Technology (Data Engineer) will lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade data integration solutions for CRM and Analytics platforms. This senior data engineering role focuses on delivering large-scale data integration solutions using ETL tooling, Python automation, and advanced SQL/NoSQL capabilities. The successful candidate will work closely with architecture, application, and business teams to build reliable and scalable data pipelines. This position requires deep hands-on expertise in data engineering and a strong understanding of data pipeline fundamentals.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or platform engineering with a focus on large enterprise programs.
  • Proven track record delivering data integration for ERP and/or CRM platforms in complex environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with one or more enterprise ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, DataStage, SSIS, Talend, Azure Data Factory, Matillion, or dbt.
  • Advanced Python skills for data processing, automation, and scripting.
  • Expert-level SQL skills, including performance tuning and data warehousing concepts.
  • Working knowledge of NoSQL concepts and at least one NoSQL technology.
  • Strong understanding of data pipeline fundamentals including incremental loading and schema evolution.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate robust batch and near-real-time integration pipelines for CRM data domains.
  • Develop and optimize workflows using enterprise ETL tools.
  • Build Python-based utilities and frameworks for data loads and automation.
  • Write and tune complex SQL queries for performance optimization.
  • Apply non-relational data modeling and query patterns where appropriate.
  • Implement validation rules, error handling, and monitoring to meet SLAs/SLOs.
  • Contribute to system architecture and integration design decisions.
  • Ensure data pipelines follow security best practices and align with compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with CRM application teams and enterprise architects on data definitions.
  • Participate in release planning, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
