As a Software Engineer on the Entitlements Platform team at Goldman Sachs, you will play a crucial role in protecting the firm against access risks. This elite team is responsible for building security controls that ensure compliance with regulatory policies. Requirements
- Strong core and server-side Java software development experience
- Experience implementing RESTful APIs and microservice architecture
- Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and database design principles
- The ability to communicate technical concepts effectively, both in writing and orally
- Proficiency in designing, developing, and testing cross-platform software
- Solid experience with version control, continuous integration, deployment, and configuration management tools
- The ability to understand and effectively debug both new and existing software
- Self-motivated and able to work in a high-paced environment with tight deadlines
- An understanding of customer-first and data-driven design
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test cross-platform software solutions that are secure, scalable, and maintainable
- Build applications, libraries, and services to manage the lifecycle of application privileges
- Provide externalized authorization capabilities and allow secure, auditable access to the production environment
- Collaborate with colleagues across diverse technology teams to understand their needs and build solutions that meet their requirements
