Job description

Qualcomm is seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer for its Enterprise AI Platform and Solutions team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and delivering next-generation AI-powered developer tools and platform capabilities. Candidates should be passionate about building intuitive, AI-driven user experiences while managing tight timelines. This position requires strong ownership and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD in a related field.
  • 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
  • Strong programming skills in C#.NET, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Angular, Node.js, HTML, and CSS.

Responsibilities

  • Build and enhance end-to-end AI-powered applications, including frontend developer tools and backend services.
  • Develop and integrate LLM-powered features into enterprise applications to improve user productivity and experience.
  • Contribute to enterprise-scale search, retrieval, and indexing systems for efficient processing of codebases.
  • Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and integration layers to expose AI/ML capabilities.
  • Rapidly iterate on UI/UX features based on real-world usage and feedback.
  • Debug and resolve issues across application layers, including frontend, backend, and AI components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, production-ready AI solutions.
