The Qualcomm Cloud AI team is seeking a software engineer to develop Linux device drivers for Machine Learning applications. The focus will be on Qualcomm's high-performance inference accelerator AI 100 and related products. The role involves coding for Linux device drivers and assisting with upstreaming the code. Candidates should have a strong background in low-level software development and familiarity with SoC systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years, or a PhD with 2+ years.
• 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Experience with Linux kernel driver development, kernel modules, HWMon, sysfs, and debugging techniques.
• Knowledge of RTOS, SoC architecture, and common hardware blocks.

• Develop code for Linux device drivers targeting Machine Learning use cases.
• Assist with upstreaming the developed code.
• Work on functional simulation of SoC systems including bus subsystems, DMA, and PCIe.
• Collaborate in a structured software development environment focusing on low-level implementation.
