The Critical Infrastructure Field Engineer role at AWS focuses on supporting the electrical and cooling infrastructure within Supply Chain Facility Management and Data Centers. • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience in the electrical engineering field
• 6+ years of experience with industrial, municipal, or commercial facility engineering
• Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings and specifications
• Experience with BMS and EPMS control systems and data collection
• Broad understanding of mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical equipment related to industrial facilities
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) and/or advanced degree in engineering or related field

• Troubleshoot equipment failures and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Conduct feasibility studies for facility upgrades and improve operational efficiency
• Drive standardization of space planning and design implementation
• Interface with internal teams to promote standards for facility reliability
• Initiate and lead engineering audits and produce reports with risk mitigations
• Act as resident engineer during new construction and fit-out projects
• Review preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal facility performance
• Engage in a mix of office and field work, with potential domestic and international travel
