Citi's Investor Services division is looking for a Vice President to lead full-stack engineering efforts. This senior-level position involves establishing mission-critical application systems and shaping the technology landscape in collaboration with a global team. • 6-10+ years of relevant experience in Applications Development or systems analysis.
• Deep expertise in building and delivering full-stack solutions.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java, including experience with frameworks like Spring Boot.
• Strong experience in designing and building APIs, with proficiency in both RESTful services and GraphQL.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, specifically React or Angular.
• Proven experience with Apache Kafka for building event-driven architectures.
• Demonstrable experience with Docker and Kubernetes in a production environment.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly and thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred.

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of complex, scalable, and resilient full-stack applications.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to mid-level developers and analysts.
• Engage in hands-on development across the entire technology stack.
• Provide deep expertise in advanced application programming and enforce coding standards.
• Design and implement sophisticated, real-time data processing solutions using Apache Kafka.
• Champion best practices for containerization and orchestration.
• Partner with management teams and business stakeholders for seamless integration of functions.
• Resolve high-impact problems through evaluation of complex business processes.
