Job description
The Asset Servicing Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional responsible for managing corporate action events and providing support to Prime Broker clients. This role requires in-depth knowledge of securities processing and involves collaboration with various internal teams to ensure effective client service. The analyst will also be involved in coaching new recruits and influencing decisions within the team. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for addressing client inquiries and managing risks.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience as a Securities Processing Analyst or in a related position performing corporate action processing.
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
- Good analytical skills to filter, prioritize, and validate complex information.
- Strong communication and diplomacy skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage reconciling and processing positions related to Corporate Action events.
- Serve as the primary contact for Prime Broker clients regarding Corporate Action and income events.
- Research and resolve questions or issues presented by domestic and international Prime Finance Clients.
- Partner with internal teams to effectively service Prime Broker clients.
- Perform reconciliations for applicable client account positions for Corporate Action and Dividend Interest events.
- Provide guidance to clients on the life-cycle of events on multiple products.
- Craft robust client communications in response to client questions or concerns.
- Identify and manage risk to the business with timely action and prompt escalation.
- Hold or attend client conference call meetings and in-person meetings.
- Participate in meetings with international or US Custodians and Transfer Agents regarding Corporate Action or Dividend events.
