Job description
The role involves building and installing optical modules in a cleanroom environment, specifically for the semiconductor industry. The team focuses on ensuring that crystals are operational and meet specifications during the manufacturing process. Employees will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the crystal process while following established procedures. This position requires minimal supervision and may involve providing technical training to peers.
Requirements
- Technical School education or 1 year of relevant work experience
- Ability to work inside a class 100 cleanroom
- Familiarity with optical modules and crystal installation
Responsibilities
- Build and install optical modules in a laser.
- Work with crystals and ensure they are operational for the semiconductor industry.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on the crystal process.
- Follow procedures and checklists when building and testing.
- Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems.
- Perform ongoing daily work with minimal instruction.
