The Senior Java Engineer will lead the design, development, and implementation of complex middleware applications using Java and Spring Boot, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI technologies to enhance productivity and software quality. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality software while mentoring junior engineers. The engineer will also be responsible for optimizing database interactions and driving the adoption of CI/CD pipelines. • 6-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
• Strong understanding of Java (JDK 8+, preferably Java 11/17), including multithreading, collections, garbage collection, and JVM internals
• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security)
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with Oracle databases, including schema design, query optimization, and stored procedures
• Experience with MongoDB, including data modeling, querying, and performance tuning
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Maven/Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Demonstrable exposure and practical experience with AI development tools such as Devin, GitHub Copilot, Claude, Anti Gravity, and Codex
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience, with a Master’s degree preferred

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure the stability and performance of production systems
• Contribute to the strategic planning and technical roadmap for middleware platforms
• Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and risk assessments
• Monitor and control all phases of the development process and provide user and operational support
• Recommend and develop security measures in post-implementation analysis of business usage
• Consult with users/clients on issues and recommend advanced programming solutions
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
• Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts
