This role involves supporting the U.S. Intelligence Community and Defense agencies by implementing innovative cloud computing solutions. As part of the AWS engineering team in Denver, CO, you will work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to mission-critical services. The position requires a strong foundation in Linux and system administration, along with a current TS/SCI security clearance. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, or A+ or CND or Network+ or Security+ certification.
- 1+ years of systems administration experience in Linux or Windows environments.
- Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Information Management, Informatics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
Responsibilities
- Design and build the operational scalability that sustains the platform's growth.
- Conduct deep-dive troubleshooting and technical post-mortem discussions to identify root causes of complex issues.
- Consult with top engineers at Amazon to investigate customer issues and metrics.
- Become an expert at AWS Services platform diagnosis, response, measurement, and automation.
