We are seeking a Signal and Power Integrity engineer to contribute to the development of innovative technologies and products in portable consumer electronics. The role involves working on high-speed interface systems and ensuring robust design through collaboration with vendors and cross-functional teams. The engineer will focus on signal and power integrity aspects, utilizing strong engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills. Requirements
- M.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with relevant industry-level work experience.
- Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering and problem-solving skills.
- Strong academic background in electromagnetic theory and coupling mechanisms.
- Familiarity with all aspects of Signal Integrity for high-speed SerDes and Power Integrity.
- Hands-on experience with EM and circuit simulation tools such as Ansys HFSS, CST, and Cadence.
- Measurement expertise with frequency and time domain tools like VNA and Oscilloscope.
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience.
- A strong background in system-level signal and power integrity.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Work on the electrical and physical design of high-speed interface systems.
- Conduct electrical extraction and validation of PCB and FLEX.
- Collaborate with connector, cable, and FLEX vendors to optimize design and ensure robustness.
- Perform SI and PI modeling, simulation, and characterization of high-speed interfaces and PDN.
- Conduct feasibility studies, design verification, and sign-off.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate signal and power integrity.
- Work with manufacturing and system engineering to debug and improve product yield.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve and enhance SIPI issues affecting Desense and EMI.
