Job description

The Senior PCB Design Layout Engineer will join NVIDIA's Hardware Layout team, focusing on the design and layout of high-speed, high-density PCBs across various business units. This role involves close collaboration with product design engineers to ensure quality and reliability in PCB designs. The engineer will be responsible for managing design releases and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or related field, with an advanced degree preferred.
  • 6+ years of overall relevant practical experience.
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing teams and projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on quality and reliability in PCB layout design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex design issues.

Responsibilities

  • Perform PCB layout of high-speed, high-density PCBs for all business units at NVIDIA.
  • Complete development of CAD layout from detailed component placement and constraints management.
  • Generate artwork files, ODB++, test reports, and electronic PCB documentation.
  • Ensure designs follow SI constraints, EMI/RFI control, and relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with product design engineers and other teams.
