Job description

The Cyber Defense organization is looking for an Information Security Engineer to enhance security operations across various enterprise environments. This role involves working within a collaborative Agile DevOps team to identify vulnerabilities, conduct threat assessments, and implement security measures. The engineer will focus on both offensive and defensive security strategies to protect Intel's critical assets. A passion for quality, security, and automation is essential for continual improvement and innovation in this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Information Security operations, vulnerability management, and/or service delivery.
  • Experience in Offensive Security and Vulnerability Management including Vulnerability Assessment, Identification, and Remediation.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, manage, and operate core platforms within the Cyber Defense organization.
  • Perform external attack surface management responsibilities including attack path analysis and tactical remediation.
  • Verify the efficacy of security controls implemented on various Intel enterprise systems.
  • Recommend remediation actions for discovered security vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand AI workflows and identify potential security gaps.
