The role involves leading a program focused on providing RFID solutions to retail customers, ensuring their operational needs are met through innovative technology. The engineer will work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to define optimal end-to-end solutions. This position requires a strong understanding of customer challenges and the ability to present findings to senior leadership. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization
- 5+ years of experience optimizing designs, processes, and/or products in retail and/or engineering
- Experience working directly with customers and delivering products/solutions with quantitative impact
- Experience and technical background in defining standardized processes and scalable software tools
- Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma, and other operations engineering tools
- Experience building launch readiness frameworks, standard work, playbooks, and scalable deployment mechanisms across multiple concurrent sites
- Experience in retail, operations, and/or business management
- Experience building or using optimization software for system design and multi-step processes
Responsibilities
- Understand the business and operational needs of JWO’s RFID customers across various verticals.
- Stay current on the features and benefits of JWO’s latest RFID products and tools.
- Provide RFID customers with the appropriate in-store and back-of-house RFID solution the first time, supported by quantitative data.
- Adhere to, enforce, and improve the store configuration and launch process in partnership with sales and implementation teams.
- Identify gaps in JWO’s RFID product offering and escalate them to the product team for solutions.
- Present customer learnings, process improvements, program updates, and strategic roadmaps to senior leadership regularly.
