As an Amazon Critical Infrastructure Engineer, you will provide full life-cycle support to AWS Data Centers, ensuring they meet customer needs while maintaining high standards for safety and security. You will collaborate with diverse teams, including software, hardware, and network engineers, to develop innovative solutions and improve data center operations. This role involves troubleshooting, conducting root cause analysis, and leading engineering audits. You will also engage in both office and field work, supporting projects locally and globally.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Valid and active driver's license
• Coursework in commercial/industrial power systems
• Possess leadership and problem-solving skills
• Possess data analytics skills and comfort with working in vast amounts of data
• Experience using a variety of web-based and other software tools for calculation and data processing

• Troubleshoot, conduct root cause analysis, and create corrective action documentation for site and equipment failures.
• Directly support operational issues with ad-hoc training and complex operating procedure reviews.
• Own the conceptual design for existing data center upgrades and design solutions.
• Interface with internal teams to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability.
• Develop innovative solutions for AWS's data centers.
• Initiate and lead engineering audits, producing reports outlining risks with recommended mitigations.
• Act as resident engineer during new construction projects, supporting construction, commissioning, and turnover.
