Job description

The role is for an experienced Software Development Engineer in the AWS Marketplace team, which is focused on enhancing the online store for software and services on the AWS Cloud. The team is responsible for driving revenue and growth while ensuring a smooth experience for sellers and buyers. The ideal candidate will work on complex system software and contribute to defining product features and system architecture. A commitment to teamwork and strong communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications
  • 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience

Responsibilities

  • Own the design and implementation of major deliverables end-to-end
  • Collaborate with other engineers, principal engineers, product managers, and partner teams
  • Solve complex business problems of cloud marketplaces with straightforward solutions
  • Apply appropriate technologies and software engineering best practices
  • Build solutions that scale and perform well
