The engineer will design and maintain dashboards and reports to track system performance and readiness. This position is crucial for ensuring data-driven decisions throughout the development lifecycle of new robotic systems.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries.
  • Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab.
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience in Python.
  • Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
  • Experience in data mining, ETL, etc., and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.

Responsibilities

  • Execute foundational statistical methods to evaluate new containerized and workcell system performance against readiness criteria.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Program Managers, and engineering teams to translate ambiguous new product questions into structured analyses.
  • Identify and onboard data sources from new containerized and workcell systems and define NPI-relevant metrics.
  • Author recommendation-focused whitepapers and deep-dive analyses that inform new product development decisions.
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions that track new containerized and workcell products through their development phases.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of data lineage across BI solutions and optimize scripts to streamline BI processes.

Benefits

  • Employees at Amazon are often offered comprehensive health benefits—including multiple medical plan options (no pre-existing condition exclusions, 100% covered in-network preventive care), dental and vision plans, a 24/7 medical advice line from day one, expert second-opinion services, and broad mental-health support with several free counseling sessions (including pediatric). Financial wellness typically includes a 401(k) with company match (up to 2%), Restricted Stock Units (equity), FSAs, an emergency savings program, product and partner discounts, and even college-savings and home-purchase programs. Overall, the package is designed to support employees and their families’ health, finances, and day-to-day life.
