Job description

The Amazon DynamoDB team is seeking software engineers with a team-first mentality to enhance one of the largest NoSQL database services globally. This role involves tackling complex engineering challenges in distributed systems while ensuring top-tier database performance for AWS customers. Engineers will engage in a hands-on position, taking ownership of the entire development process from requirements gathering to implementation. Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and code reviews
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end development process including requirements gathering and design reviews
  • Implement and review code while launching incremental features
  • Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement within the team
  • Work collaboratively with motivated teams to solve complex engineering problems
