Job description

As a Sub Same Day Operations Engineer at Amazon, you will lead and manage cross-functional projects focused on enhancing same-day delivery capabilities. You will be responsible for planning and executing facility infrastructure for new builds and expansions while ensuring customer satisfaction. The role requires strong project management skills and the ability to work with various stakeholders. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, formulae, and data visualization
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • Ability to travel up to 80%
  • Experience working with and managing third party vendors
  • Experience with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing
  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience in project management including resource planning, managing schedules, reporting project status and prioritizing tasks

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, supervise and control the execution of all business, technical, fiscal and administrative functions of the assigned project.
  • Partner with customers and internal/external teams to ensure timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of all project activity including significant milestones and conditions which would affect project cost or schedule.
  • Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks.
  • Manage project budget and approve all purchase orders.
  • Travel up to 80%.
