  • Experience with real-time software development, multithreaded programming, or embedded Linux environments
  • Familiarity with simulation tools like Gazebo, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, or equivalent
  • Experience deploying software to physical robotic platforms in industrial or production settings
  • Experience with open-source Linux-based development tools and architectures
  • Knowledge of sensor integration and calibration techniques

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain production software for robotic systems in C++ and/or Python.
  • Work with multiple system components including sensor integration, networking, safety systems, and real-time actuation.
  • Contribute to the architecture of complex robotics software systems.
  • Build simulation, testing, and CI/CD infrastructure to validate robot behaviors before deployment.
  • Debug and troubleshoot complex system-level issues across software, firmware, and hardware boundaries.
  • Develop solutions that balance performance, reliability, and maintainability under the guidance of senior engineers.

Benefits

  • Employees at Amazon are often offered comprehensive health benefits—including multiple medical plan options (no pre-existing condition exclusions, 100% covered in-network preventive care), dental and vision plans, a 24/7 medical advice line from day one, expert second-opinion services, and broad mental-health support with several free counseling sessions (including pediatric). Financial wellness typically includes a 401(k) with company match (up to 2%), Restricted Stock Units (equity), FSAs, an emergency savings program, product and partner discounts, and even college-savings and home-purchase programs. Overall, the package is designed to support employees and their families’ health, finances, and day-to-day life.
