StubHub is seeking Senior Software Engineers to design and develop next-generation technologies that enhance the live event experience for millions of users. The role involves working within the Supply team, which focuses on simplifying the lives of large-ticket sellers through intelligent automation and streamlined workflows. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for both user needs and commercial judgment, while also mentoring team members and demonstrating leadership. This position is hybrid, based in either Aliso Viejo, CA or San Francisco, CA.
Requirements
- 5-6+ years of professional experience in software development
- 2+ years of in-depth experience with React and relevant toolsets/framework ecosystems
- Extensive experience developing robust, mission-critical systems using multiple general-purpose programming languages such as Java or C#
- Demonstrated expertise in building software with one or more of the following: Infrastructure, Databases, Data Processing, Machine Learning, Distributed Systems, Security, and Privacy
- Experience owning projects from the initial idea all the way to production
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain impactful improvements across all StubHub’s platforms and products
- Collaborate with team members to ensure best practices across our code
- Manage individual initiative priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with technical expertise
- Mentor other team members and help increase their technical capabilities
