StubHub is seeking Senior Software Engineers to design and develop next-generation technologies that enhance the live event experience for users and sellers. The role involves working within the Supply team, which focuses on simplifying the lives of large-ticket sellers through intelligent automation and streamlined workflows. Senior Software Engineers will play a crucial role in shaping the commercial and product strategy while mentoring team members and fostering an inclusive culture. This position is hybrid, based in San Francisco, CA.

• 5-6+ years of professional experience in software development
• Extensive experience developing robust, mission-critical systems using multiple general-purpose programming languages such as Java and C#
• Demonstrated expertise in building software with Infrastructure, Databases, Data Processing, Machine Learning, Distributed Systems, Security, and Privacy
• Previous experience designing and developing solutions to complex problems with significant business impact
• A strong understanding of system interactions with the broader production environment
• Proven ability to learn other coding languages, platforms, frameworks, and tools
• Experience owning projects from the initial idea to production
• Experience mentoring junior engineers

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain impactful improvements for backend code across all StubHub’s platforms and products
• Collaborate with team members to ensure best practices across the codebase
• Manage individual initiative priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with technical expertise
• Mentor other team members and help increase their technical capabilities
